Diva cucumber. Johnny Seeds, Maine. New seedless parthenocarpic cucumber doesn’t require pollination; hence you can grow it under row cover on in screened hoophouse all season to keep those pesky striped cucumber beetles away. 9 inches long, really crisp & sweet.
Norstar Hybrid direct seed yellow onion. Wm Dam Seeds. Doesn’t require starting from seed inside in February, just plant outside as soon as possible. Thin.
Discovery Early Hybrid Cabbage. Rawlinson Garden Seed. Sweet and spicy, like the no-longer-available Berkagis Dutch open pollinated one I like so much.
Starca F1 Organic Carrot. Rawlinson Garden Seed. At $38/20 gr. this was really pricy, but a great midseason carrot. Nantes hybrid. Tasted just as good as the Sweetness hybrid my CSA members rave about.
